It is the dawn of a new era in the history of Cuba's Legal System. The U.S./Cuba Legal Forum seeks to contribute to the development of Cuba's Legal System through a better understanding of Cuba's present laws and through the interaction of our members with their colleagues in Cuba. All lawyers -those in Cuba as well as those living abroad, those still active and those whose inactivity has not diminished their love for the Law, those who are more familiar with Cuba's legal past and those who toil within the present Cuban legal system- are invited to participate in and contribute to our forum.
It is a forum, not a church, and we expect and welcome diversity of views, with only one condition: the will to listen to other points of view and the desire to work in search of the national consensus that shall sustain and drive the future Cuban Legal System.
